Maryland Venue - Part 2

I love when an event is held in an old mansion, castle or estate.  It reminds me of the gilded era when society knew how to throw a splendid party.  Im glad to share with you more of my favorite locations for your next splendid affair....

Gramercy Mansion
I have to admit that I'm very partial to this beautiful estate. I worked at the Tudor style mansion as an event host and had the pleasure of experiencing some of the most beautiful weddings and events held there.  Built in 1902 by Alexander Cassatt owner of the Pennsylvania Railroad as a wedding gift for his daugther Eliza, it is now a bed & breakfast and event venue that host weddings and business conference.  For more information go to their website gramercymansion.com.

Cloisters Castle
This medieval castle is another favorite location of mine. Celebrities love this venue as well.  Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith held their wedding here in 1998. For more information check out their website at cloisterscastle.com.

Built in 1917 and modeled after the Warwick Castle in England.  This 150 acre Tudor style gem is only minutes from downtown Baltimore and is also known for its all girl preparatory school. Visit their website for more information maryvale.com.

Built in 1898 by Dr. Howard Kelly one of the founders of Johns Hopkins Hospitals.  Liriodendron is located in Harford County, MD and is the perfect place to host your next private affair.  More information can be found at liriodendron.com.

This is a beautiful Georgian style venue that still have the original stone barn and outbuildings. The ceremonial garden is beautifully landscaped with a gazebo and receptions or dinners can be held indoor or outdoor.  Perfect for a small initimate wedding.  Contact Dave for more information woodlawnmanor.com
